I loves their conversations, especially the Pixi dust episode, ha ha! How they get closer to each other with every phone call, and then wind up with each other.

And that last part: ADORBS!!! <3

Also: Go you for finding that lullaby. It is very famous in Germany, I think about everybody knows it, kind of like the German version of twinkle, twinkle, little star; popularity-wise. It's totally IC that Monroe knows it, so yay!

Really? I just kind of Googled "traditional German lullabies" and that's what came up among a few others. It had the kind of cadence of a classic to me, so I chose it. Hurray!

This is such a sweet story. Your phone call fics continue to be brilliant. I think my favorite call was when Nick kept leaving Monroe messages because he was so worried and then it turned out that Monroe didn't even have his phone. The poor dear.

*Giggles* In dutch (which is, after all, very much related to German, enough so that I can translate most German loosely actually) we have a lulliby that's very heavily related and quite obviously to the same melody (though I must say it makes more sense than the German one):
