You get extra points for the Haitian being there.

I loved it.

Well, with the idea of wiping memories, not having the Haitian there would have been a travesty.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it.

So sad - yet so hopeful at the end. Nice application of the story to Sylar and Elle, it really works quite well. Great job!

Thank you very much!

I just find their canon story to be pretty tragic and sad and it just lent itself really well to this prompt and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. But obviously, I couldn't leave it too sad considering my ending, lol.

Oh, I'm so happy you attempted the ESOTSM prompt! This is very good, and I especially like the ending with Sylar and Elle running into one another and not knowing what they used to be--I'm such a total sucker for dramatic irony.

I think you might have accidentally left a beta remark in this, though? In the 3x09 section?

Shhh, what beta remarks? ;) Haha, thanks for the heads up on that.

Thanks! I had tried to work on the ESotSM prompt before but nothing seemed to work out and I even tried working on The Virgin Suicides prompt but I hated what I had and deleted it, lol. But anyway, ESotSM just seemed to work with me for this challenge and I didn't want the ending to be like too hokey and suddenly have him remember everything, lol.

You already know how much I loved this fic. This was a great execution of that idea, and I really loved the ending, it was both sad and almost hopeful at the end. I'm so glad law school gave you enough time to write for the challenge!

Thanks! :D And thank you again for beta-ing this for me.

Sad and almost hopeful is like such a good way to describe Elle and Sylar. Like you know their story is sad but you keep hoping something changes so they could get a shot at some sort of twisted happily ever after.

Haha, I'm so glad that I didn't have that much homework this weekend and I was feeling creative enough to get this story done!
