It's partial(?) simplified Chinese. I can kind of read it, but it looks kinda funny to me.

Not so sure about the simplified Chinese, but in traditional text, GAY meaning homosexual in Chinese is: 同性戀, same sex love(?)...and the slang for that, HK a decade back at least, is 同志, which is kinda ironic as that literally means "comrade", and the communists look upon homosexuality as bourgeois and/or a mental illness and condemns it.
