Oh God, I thought he was dead!

I just reread Fahrenheit 451 for the book club and I have to say I prefer his short stories but STILL...the man's amazing. AMAZING.

Aside from that Bradbury is one of the greatest living storytellers, he was the vehicle for an extremely cherished memory of a day of parent-child bonding for me. When I was a teenager, my dad and I went to see an off-broadway performance of "The Illustrated Man"; this was well before the movie with Rod Steiger & Claire Bloom.
