Yin was waiting patiently against a wall of some building. She wished that she were more help to the man in telling him where she was but she herself did not know. Yet knowing the infamous contractor and her only companion in this world, she knew he would find her. He always did. No matter the circumstance. He always found a way. Now would be no different.

Yin looked up at the sky. A man told her that she would not be able to tell if the moon was out or not if they were on the lower level. But perhaps Hei could be her eyes and tell her if the moon was existing in this world. She had yet to feel its presence.

His search seemed to take decades... yet, in truth, it was merely two hours. By the time he found the girl, though, he was quite on edge; the search had turned up something troubling, long before it had turned up Yin: a corpse, mutilated, with the word 'SINNER' written nearby, in the victim's own blood. It wasn't, of course, that he hadn't seen such things before... or been responsible for them, for that matter. No... the weight on his mind was worry, worry for his defenseless companion.

It was only a few minutes later, though, when his eyes caught a flash of bluish silver; he stopped dead in his tracks, and scanned his surroundings. There... by a stand of hovels, a hundred yards or so away. He hurried over, no longer worried about stealth; at this point, he was only worried about Yin. She looked alright... but, then again, he wasn't certain if a Doll would show it, if she was hurt. Better to ask her ( ... )

Yin looked in the direction of where the voice was coming from and instantly recognized it. She pushed herself off the wall, acknowledging that her comrade was near. She moved her hand and grab hold of his sleeve, making sure it was him before moving her head upwards, as if she was trying to see him.

This was Hei. She knew it. She knew he would find her. When had he never? It was never like him to fail a mission.

"Hei." she replied back, her voice also calm. She then tilted her head up, as if looking at the sky. "The moon...is it still here?" She hadn't been able to tell.

Hei smiled down at her, though thinly; his face was hidden by his mask, but it didn't matter. She couldn't see it... but, he wouldn't have minded, if she could. Yin was one of only two people who had ever really known who and what he was - the other being Amber - and that rendered his metaphorical masks pointless... and her blindness did the same for his physical mask.

"No," he said, shaking his head slightly. "It's not. No stars, either... real or fake." Which lent some credence to that odd woman's theory, that they weren't on Earth any longer. "Yin, are you alright? Unharmed?"
