Futuristic city

When I was in 7th grade, I had a biology teacher named Mr. Gladding. They say he was married with kids, but he just oozed homosexuality with a huge litany of stereotypes: soft passive voice, limp wrist, lilted voice, clear nail polish, and pastel sweaters. I don't say this because I didn't like him; he was a good guy, and a pretty good teacher. ( Read more... )

I can totally relate to your story.

"When the threat comes from the inside, all the rules change."

Very, very true.

Thanks for posting that. It really brings to light how naive our thinking is of people being inherently good.

"I kept thinking, "Why would anyone do that?" The sea would rush in and everyone, including the bomber, would die..."

Really hard to counter that huh? lol

This is RawCode btw.

I got a "B" on that project because I was leaving the country two weeks before the end of school. The class got to give the grades on the project, and they voted to give me a "C" because some of the students were envious. Mr. Gladding was unhappy with that and overruled.

Scary fact: I still have the project.

The other thing you didn't mention about our dear flaming teacher was the fact that *all* the girls got a "Sue," "Beth" or "Ann" added to whatever their real names were. "Sarah Beth," "Julie Ann," etc.

One of the best pieces of non-fic you've written yet. I implore you to submit it to a newspaper or other media (minus the gay joke, unfortunately).
