I finished this yesterday, after over a week of mishaps and difficulty. I have to admit that it was worth the effort. I had to re-do the knitted black section becase I started it in stockinette, but it curled way too much. It's a custom Guitar Hero scarf for a friend, with notes from a section of the song "Hotel California."
Edit: Perhaps I should've mentioned when I posted this that I'm willing to take orders for your own version of this scarf, with your own custom song, for $45 USD (before shipping). The only catch is I'm kinda backlogged with other custom orders until mid-May sometime, so it'll be a couple weeks before I get to making them. I'll post about it again when I'm ready to start making them. Let me know if you're interested!
