I feel your pain. The one root canal I've had, performed by Dr. Ingemi when I was a teen (we used to call him Dr. Injure-me), was botched and protractedly painful.
However, I cannot and shall not wish you relief unless and until you remove the final comma from the title of this post. The paraphrased quote from Romeo and Juliet asks why the object is what it is, not where: 'Wherefore art thou Romeo?', not 'Where art thou, Romeo?' or even 'Yo, Romes, where you be at?'
Thus it remains, and the remainder thus (take thy pick):
Pliers are; therefore pliers are.
Prithee, wherefore ought not they be?
Because they're not a ratcheting wrench.
'Wherefore' means 'why', and infinite repetition of the mistake in popular culture does not change that fact. Fie upon thee, varlet!
I had a similar incident. My dentist office has several dentists and hygienists and I think I've seen 5 dentists and 3 hygienists in the 3 years I've been going there. Anyway, they replaced a filling for me and gave my tooth a tiny crack. I started feeling pain in a completely different part of my mouth and had to have a root canal / crown job. /sigh/
For your troubles (the car accident), I'll do everything you say next time, k?

(You wouldn't believe the number of typos I had to correct before sending this comment, due to a demanding cat on my lap!)
