Dreamscapes

The morning came far too early this morning, as the night had been spent in a series of ever more intricate and exhausting dreams. I awoke repeatedly to escape the strangeness of them all. These dreams are the inevitable side effects I experience every time there is any change to my medications, and I am quite familiar with them by now. If any ( Read more... )

A frugal and healthful salad. And here I am ten pounds fatter (f-ing stress eating) and all I can recall from last night's dream(s) is blowing a load on another LJ-er's face and licking it off.

Like I'd ever do that...

I have to watch my b-complex intake, too much b-6 (or b-12) gives me vivid dream recollection. I always forget which b, so I avoid them both. The recollections are strange and very realistic and when they happen too much for too long I have trouble with discerning memory from dream.

So, maybe watch your b intake for a little while. Or if you want some weirdness (!?!) do some mega dosing. NOT ADVISABLE.

My dreams are weird enough - I don't think I want to punch them up to the next level!

it good to know that there are others who relish these lucid dreams. sometimes there's a connection to the emotions of my recent days, othertime i think it's just my brain wanting to take a rollercoaster ride just for the thrills. what i do find interesting are the dreams that pick up where they left off as if they are a continuing saga. these chapters can be months or even years apart.

I have had a few of those "continuing story" dreams. Always interesting!

I have weird dreams even without changes. There is this one very unpleasant event I had in 1987 that I dream about all the time, a different way each time, with my current cast of characters mixed up with the ones there. I wake up disoriented. I just live with it.
