sorry to hear you are in pain. my friend is in surgery today for compressed discs that is causing pain in his right leg. the last time he spun (he's a dj) i could see him wince form the pain in the dj booth. so, i can only imagine what you're feeling. hope you feel better...

have you tried the glute stretch?

on the floor put the non offending leg staight out behind you... and the offending leg... juxtiposed across you in front... so you look like the number four... and lean back to stretch out that glute...

might release the pressure on your sacrum.

Oh dude... I'm SO sorry ot hear about your pain! Last May I sustained damage to my two lowest neck and one uppermost thoracic discs. I could not stand, sit, lay down, breath, walk, eat, or exist comfortably. The pain changed every day and its severity could never be predicted. I would pace around my condo or chill online (at least my mind was engaged and I was doing something) until pure exhaustion set in and I would more or less pass out on my bed -- thereby sparing me the whole misery of "falling" asleep (the pain seemed to intensify when I closed my eyes and had nothing else to distract me from it ( ... )

Congrats on your healing! I am actually doing much better now than I was. And it was much the same - suddenly, one day, it just wasn't as bad!
