For me, I flirted with some serious Spike-love at the beginning of season 6. Finding out he'd taken care of Dawn all summer, the "Every night I save you" thing... *sigh*

Then came the rest of the season. *biggersigh*

As for Spike both season six and seven had excellent starts. They just faded fast, and so I join you in a big sigh.

Extended version of FotR is totally worth it. Totally. As for BtVS, I intend to stop after S5 myself. The last two seasons don't have enough good episodes to justify the price. Hell, I might even skip S4.

I bought the extended FotR right after Christmas, and it's totally worth it. Besides the 30 minutes of extra footage (which I thought really added to the movie, and I loved it anyway), there's about five hours or so of documentaries and such that are just great. Took me awhile to get through them, but there's some really great behind the scenes stuff and interviews with the actors about the experience. I don't think you'll regret owning it at all. :)

Cool, I will not worry about THAT little impulse buy then. Dave will most likely kill me, but once these are out, I'm thinking ATS 2 Alias, The Sheild 2 and just maybe X-Files 3 or DS9
