Prednisone still controlling pain. Can't say it's doing much for my nose, but I'm being impatient. Started new nasal spray today - EXPENSIVE new nasal spray - OMNARIS. Not going to bother checking online for side effect right now. Supposedly different because it's "inactive" until it hits the tissue it's supposed to help. We'll see

Since you've become quite educated on medications you might look into buying a "drug guide" for nurses. I got mine at books a million when I started nursing school. I love it. It lists everything from otc, prescriptions, generic and herbals. It was like 26.00.

It gives way more info than you would get on something like webmd. It tells you not only side effects but how long it takes to work how long it stays in your system how long it takes to peak. And from a nursing stand point what a nurse should look for while the patient is taking it and what to warn the family about.
