Job Description for Technical Leader or Senior Developer for the TSM & FastBack Team

Description:
The employee will function as part of a team that develops Data Protection & Recovery solution. As part of her/his role s/he will be expected to technically lead a team of engineers, during design and implementation of complex solution and solving complex customer's problems. The team of engineers is a global team (some of them will be working in remote locations).

Requirements:
  • Candidate must have at least five years of experience in C, C++ on Windows and Linux
  • Strong experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems
  • Deep and proven experience in Windows environments, programming languages etc...
  • Experience developing at the system level e.g. OS internals, multithreading, sockets, etc.
  • Knowledge of the storage stacks, communication, multithreading and object synchronization
  • Proven experience in technical leadership & design of complex solutions
  • Proven experience of working with customers
  • Candidates should have excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work as part of a global team, ability to work in multi-task environment and good problem solving skills
  • Good command of Hebrew and English
  • B.A./B.Sc. in computer science

Job Description for junior C/C++ Software Developer

Description:
This position involves working as a C/C++ software engineer for TSM FastBack team in IBM. The software engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and technical-related aspects of the product's core components. The selected candidate will be part of a small and professional team that develops and maintains a high performance, multi-threaded, Data Protection and Recovery product. This is a great opportunity for a junior developer to join a highly professional and experienced team.
