So, like I said, another double bill of Orphan Black felt like too much for last night, and there was no Agents of SHIELD as Marvel expected us all to go to the cinema and watch Thor 2, so I caught up with Atlantis, episode 1.5, White Lies instead.

Comments always welcome! The main justifications for having him be from our time, as far as I can make out, are for him to ask questions that some members of the audience would ask and for Pythagoras and Hercules to answer them, but this could have been achieved by giving him amnesia equally. He sometimes expresses modern sentiments, but as I don't think anyone believes we're watching a faithful representation of olde world attitudes, this is pretty pointless too.
But I'm still finding it fun.
On Orphan Black, I will get around to watching it and probably as a double-bill, promise. But four in a day? Thinking about it made me blanch - and although I've enjoyed the show, I don't think I'd want it as a DVD and I probably wouldn't recommend mainlining it, either. It's fun to let things settle in my mind and speculate.

No, I can't see myself buying Orphan Black either. It makes interesting viewing, but half the fun is in the not knowing. It did turn out to be a very entertaining series though. I'm glad I stuck with it past what I thought to be a bit of a dull pilot.
