Let me ramble too.

It probably says a lot that I haven't sat down to look at the Oscar noms yet, just caught one or two headlines. What free time I do have, I've only been fit for watching things on the box where little people talk and stuff.

Among other things, I watched the return of CSI ( 6?.01 )

tv, the o.c., crime scene investigation

Okay, second try. The first reply got eaten by my computer and that isn't nice. I had a link in there for the Oscar nominees. And since I'm only one-brain-celled, I forgot how to post a link, so here's the address. :) http://www.oscars.org/78academyawards/noms.html

So, I hope Joaquin Phoenix gets an Oscar. I don't know about Jake Gyllenhaal, I saw him in "The day after tomorrow" and was quite impressed and my bro said he was excellent in "Jarhead" (but knowing my bro, I know to take that with a pinch of salt). But I'm all torn between "The Corpse Bride" and "Wallace & Gromit". Oh, and I hope that Munich will make it.

That's pretty much the recap of what I was babbling on and on about before. I hope this one doesn't get deleted.

Well, I posted my overall thoughts about the noms - though it all got a bit jaded. Maybe once I've seen a few more of the hopefuls I'll write about who I'd vote for if I have the choice. I haven't seen Walk the Line yet, but I love what I've seen of Joaquin Phoenix's work (coughhaveacrushonhimcough). Also, like Jake Gyllenhaal, I'm sure he'll look delish on the red carpet. Jake Gyllenhaal is a good actor, though I thought he was overwhelmed n The Day after tomorrow (which was such an effects movie). But then he was brilliant in Donnie Darko. Haven't seen BBM, so can't comment on that. Or Munich.
