The last call was a SoB/dizziness call that wasn't really SoB. When I got there fire was already doing their thing, which looked like it was mostly just monitoring spO2 and trying to calm the patient. The patient was older, had a history of T2 diabetes and anxiety. When I auscultated the patient was clear throughout all lung fields. They were a bit tachycardic and tachypneic, but it looked like the more we talked to the patient and the more we did things the more they calmed down. Further questions revealed that for the past few days the patient had been feeling flu-like symptoms. They also seemed to have anxiety centered around a fear of having to go outside, so the thought that they were unwell and possibly needing to go see a doctor probably brought about a panic attack and caused the patient to hyperventilate and become dizzy. All and all, the patient was fine
