Translateable.
Photoshop Elements 5.0

These two tuts are paired together because the colorings are fairly similar, so if you seen any steps repeated from one tut to another, that's the reason.  THEY ARE NOT IDENTICAL, so even if the first 4 steps are the same... the whole thing isn't.  :]

  to

Crop your base and touch it up. On this particular base I blurred Emma's face at 30% and sharpened her eyes slightly at 20%.

Duplicate your base, bring it to the top and set to SOFT LIGHT.     ->

New color fill layer: #f9dafe. Set to SOFT LIGHT at 40% opacity.    ->

Another color fill layer: #dffaff. Set to COLOR BURN at 100% opacity.

Duplicate the base and bring it to the top. Set it to LUMINOSITY.

Make a LEVELS layer now.
(Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Levels)

GREEN:
Input:    0   1.00   251
Output:    0   255

BLUE:
Input:    0   1.00   245
Output:    0   255
Levels Result:

New Hue/Saturation Layer.
(Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Hue/Saturation)
Raise the saturation +30.
Saturation Result:

Duplicate the base, once more, and bring it to the top.
Gaussian blur the layer at 1.0.
(Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur)
Set this layer to SOFT LIGHT at 100%

Duplicate the base, bring it to the top and set to LUMINOSITY.

The coloring is done now, time for textures and text! I used a texture by myself (
princofwhales). The font I used was Anglo Text.

Crop your base and touch it up. On this particular base I blurred Emma's face and neck at 30%.

Duplicate the base, bring it to the top and set to SOFT LIGHT.

New COLOR FILL layer. #ddfdff and set to COLOR BURN.

Duplicate the base, bring it to the top and set to LUMINOSITY.

New levels layer. (Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Hue/Saturation)

RGB
Input:   0   1.00   246
Output:  0   255

BLUE:
Input:   0   1.00   239
Output:  0    255

Levels result:

New COLOR FILL layer. #fed7f9 on SOFT LIGHT at 53% opacity.

Hue/Saturation layer.
(Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Hue/Saturation)
Raise the saturation +37
Hue/Saturation Result:

Duplicate the base and bring it to the top.

Gaussian blur the layerat 1.0, set to SOFT LIGHT.
Duplicate the base one more time and set this layer to LUMINOSITY.

MERGE ALL LAYERS!

Did you merge? Ok, we can move on then....

Once you have merged all your layers, use this texture by
abernathi and paste is on top of your merged layer.

(I'm absolutely in love with these textures!!)

Then use this texture by me (
princofwhales) and paste it on top of the previous texture. Set this new texture to SOFT LIGHT.

(Yes, this was cropped from the same texture as the texture from the above tut)

You should have something that looks like this:

Now, duplicate the merged layer and bring it to the top of the two textures.

Set this layer to MULTIPLY at 77%
Duplicate the merged layer again, bring it to the top and set to SOFT LIGHT

Duplicate the merged layer again, bring to the top and set to SCREEN at 22%.

I added a texture by
lovelamp to finish it off.

Hopefully these weren't too confusing (especially the second). If you have any questions feel free to ask. :D
