I see that you've settled. I tried to explain that they wouldn't put someone imprisoned for such a minor crime in a place like that, but I should have said they wouldn't put ANY criminal in such bad surroundings. It's against the constitution.

Anyway, if you have any problems, I'm available to you for aid. Keep that in mind.

Mr. Gavin, I don't deserve your generosity! I'm so relieved to know there are gentlemen like you still in the world.

Not that Mr. Edgeworth isn't also a gentleman. But you're so polite... and so blonde...!

Such a penitent attitude is admirable, fraulein. Rehabilitation, and not punishment, is the ultimate goal of the American penal system.

Yes, I think I'm feeling very rehabilitated already. But you are...?

I am Prosecutor Klavier Gavin, fraulein. I am also, it seems, your lawyer's brother.

There are more of you? How...amazing!

But if you're a prosecutor, and your brother is a defense attorney...

Three months is not so very long a time, Ms. Paups. Though I question the institution they have chosen to place you in... you will be released well before summer is even over.

When I do...can I come thank you again in person, Mr. Edgeworth?

Again, no thanks are necessary. Should you wish it, however, you are welcome to come by my office anytime after your release.

I definitely will! By then I might have even had my birthday, so I'll be 20.

Aren't you a little too young to be in prison, missy?

Am I? I don't know, I've never been in prison...

Could it be I'm doomed to a life of crime!?

Ahaha. Probably! You ought to start getting used to prison life.

But I already promised Mr. Edgeworth I would see him once I was released? What will he think of me if I don't keep my promise!?

I trust three months is enough to let you meditate on your mistakes.

princess_paups April 3 2010, 13:01:51 UTC
Meditate? Is that like, yoga?
