And spiders so big, they have health bars.

Usually I reserve the "america is cooler than oz" tag for instances where, um, you know what? I really just created it for that one Colbert clip where he reveals that a.) Koalas are BEASTLY, and b.) lol, oz is importing sperm from america ( Read more... )

america is cooler than oz, random link

I know you just post this stuff because you know I'll be drawn to it like the buttered side of bread to the floor >:/

The article mentions jumper ants. I used to play with those when I was in elementary school @____@ there was a jumper ant nest on the oval and me and my friends used to go to it and poke them with twigs to make them jump. We never once got bitten.

Country people have nothing better to do than to aggravate ants?

loooool, I think that's more like in Oz, even the children are hardcore. :/

What? not even once? I've been bitten by a normal, non-jumping ant. what the hell. D:

I've been bitten by other ants. They're called green ants but there's not wiki page for them. They kind of look like this and are probably about half the width of your thumbnail. Even now before I sit down on grass, I always check around me to see if there are any getting around. They're as common as flies and I was bitten by them a lot when I was younger. Now though when I get bitten, which isn't often anyway, I hardly feel the sting. A forced immunity? yaya.

fdjsakl; those look terrifying! D8

If I lived in Oz, I would not go outside. Ever. And I would hire a professional spider killer who would kill any spider in my home.

I really don't get the appeal of TvTropes. I skimmed the articles you linked to, at best :/

I tend to skim the examples, but the articles themselves are usually short enough that I'll read the whole thing.

Re: A Pairing You Thought Would Never Work Out, But Did

I actually didn't start shipping SasuNaru until maybe… sometime between Itachi coming back and the Valley of the End, or I guess in terms of time, at least two years after I started watching the series. I WATCHED IT FOR THE NINJAS AND FIGHTING HAHA but I'm not very good at picking up on the subtext until someone tells me there is subtext, so I think it wasn't until I started looking on deviantART for fanart that I saw how much people shipped SasuNaru. And then well yes the subtext was very obvious after that AND HERE I AM TODAY /FLOURISHES CAPE

So for me actually SasuNaru is the pairing that I didn't think would work out, but did.

I heard a LOT about the ninjas and fighting in Naruto, but I didn't cave until I heard about the slash. /SHALLOW.

(Of course, I'm a sucker for shounen series, so I would have gotten into it eventually, anyway. >.>)

so I think it wasn't until I started looking on deviantART for fanart that I saw how much people shipped SasuNaru. I think you've mentioned this to me before, but it never stops being hilarious. XD

Yo bb, don't be ashamed of what got you into the series. It's like when people hate on Japanese learners if they're main motivation is the desire to understand anime. Jfc at least they're learning a second language at all!

And besides, had you not got into Naruto, I wouldn't be here telling you this ♥♥♥ THANK YOU FOR BEING SHALLOW LOLOL ♥♥♥
