Author:
prettyoriannaPairing: Akame, PiKame, JunDa, Koki/Maru
Rating: NC-17.
Genre: fantasy
Beta by: my cat. okay, seriously, nobody
Disclaimer: I don't own KAT-TUN, any of its members, any other JE people. I write this for fun and for other fans of these fine folks. But don't steal my plots, mmkay? I put a great deal of time into them except for when I'm randomly spastically spitting words onto a page. But I value those too... ALSO NOTE that if you steal my land, the language, the names, myths, maps or anything else from it and I find you, I'm sooo gonna be pissed. This world is special to me and I've spent almost 15 years on it.
Summary: Nobody believed an army could cross the mountains. Perhaps that's why nobody was prepared when they did...
Warning: Character death(s). Violence. Maybe more stuff; will modify as needed.
Nifty Banner done by Deshisoraba!!
Author's Note: Just some more Ryo/Tatsuya/Junno stuff. Sorry it's so short. I'm distracted by bright, shiny objects. (Okay, technically it's a sexy woman wearing a black outfit that is covered with little black sparkly stones that is also giving great view of the cleavage, with the 'little black sparkly stone' motif continuing up one side of her neck and face... but that's practically the same thing as a bright shiny object, right?).

With Dragon's Blood Master Post Chapter Seventeen ~The Plan~
“Why are you still here?” Ryo asked the strange man that had invaded his and Tatsuya’s lives. “You’ve been here weeks and you haven’t found your own place yet! You’re still freeloading at the castle!”
The man, Junno, countered almost just as angrily, “You live at the castle!”
Ryo growled and then shouted, “I work at the castle!” The nerve of Junno, comparing their situations…
“Not that I’ve seen. You just follow Tatsuya around like a lost little puppy begging for scraps!” Junno shouted back.
Ryo had to admit, he’d known for weeks this confrontation was inevitable. There was something about the man that Ryo just didn’t trust. Not to mention that he was slowly trying to wedge his way between Ryo and his Ta… er, his friend Tatsuya.
“I’m composing and looking around me for inspiration. It’s my job.”
Softly from Tatsuya, “Please, guys…”
Junno sniped back, “I wonder if they would pay me to sit on my ass, too? How well does that job pay anyway, Ryo?”
Damn him! Damn him to the fifth circle! “No more! You’ve got to go!” and he grabbed Junno by the arm and started dragging him in the general direction of the main castle entrance/exit.
“Let go of me!” Junno jerked his arm away but inertia carried him backwards further and he landed on his butt.
Ryo snickered.
“That’s it… that’s it!” And Junno shot up to his feet, faster than Ryo would have thought possible and the next thing he knew, the man’s fist connected with his face, sending him sprawling backwards to land hard. But Junno didn’t wait for him to rise; he followed him down in an attempt to take another swing at him.
But Ryo’s reflexes were pretty good and he managed to bring his knee up - barely in time - to connect with Junno’s groin, sending the other to the floor as well.
“Please…” Tatsuya said, even softer. “I… not… some…thing…”
Ryo was about to commence beating the piss out of Junno but his attention snapped suddenly to his friend. Naked concern spread rapidly across his face as he saw Tatsuya’s eyes roll back and him stumble forward a step. He went to catch the prince before he fell but again Junno was surprisingly fast and beat him to it.
Just in time, too. Otherwise, Tatsuya would have fallen on his face.
Junno put a hand to Tatsuya’s forehead and then turned to Ryo. “He’s burning up… We should get him back to his room and get the healer.”
Normally Ryo would have rolled his eyes and mentioned that he wasn’t a moron, but he was too concerned for his Ta… um, friend Tatsuya. Instead, he hooked one of the prince’s arms over his shoulder while Junno did the same on the other side and the two of them slowly got him back to his room.
“Well?” Junno said, turning towards Ryo after they had put Tatsuya on the bed.
“Well, what?” Ryo said back.
Junno was looking at him like he was an idiot. “The healer? Go get the healer?”
“No. No way. I’m not leaving you alone with him. I’ll watch him. You get the healer.”
Junno gave an exasperated sigh. “I don’t know why you don’t like me, but if you care about your friend at all you’ll go get the healer. I don’t know where to find him and we need him now, not later after I get un-lost enough to get him.”
Growling again, Ryo scratched the back of his head and then gave a small aggravated yell. “Fine, you stay and I’ll get the healer!” And he left, running towards the healer’s quarters. This time of day, he should be there.

Junno watched as Ryo left to fetch the healer. Once the man was gone, Junno grabbed a rag and wet it in the water basin on the table, putting it on the prince’s forehead.
He made sure to keep the “concerned friend” look on at all times, just in case, but he actually wasn’t worried in the slightest. Tatsuya wasn’t ill; he was poisoned. The medics here - er, healers, rather; the world really was horribly backward - had no way to detect a toxin from beyond the borders of the four kingdoms.
Now all he had to do was to slowly cut off Ryo’s access to the prince and then gradually lessen the amount of poison he was giving so that Tatsuya slowly “got better” with the help of his suddenly very-dear friend Junno.
And one the prince was completely healed - the poison completely out of his system - a nervous admittance that he had watched over Tatsuya out of more than just friendship followed by a hesitant confession.
Then, without waiting for a response, he’d get embarrassed and try to leave. He would be incredibly insistent all the way back to his room, maybe throw in some tears, and once back in his room, he’d start packing.
Only the prince would stop him from leaving and he would would, still crying, give in. This would be followed by a tender session of lovemaking and that would be the moment he won Tatsuya over enough to make a reasonably worthwhile source of him.
He’d only used this toxin once before, mostly because it was pretty rare. Not just any toxin would do for this mission, though. It had to be one that mimicked a basic infection that might be caused by any local bug. And it wasn’t a lethal toxin, as long as you made sure to tend to the fever. The researchers’ reports all said the healers had access to antipyretics.
The perfect plan, wasn’t it?
Junno took hold of one of the prince’s hands, sitting on the edge of the bed next to him. Tatsuya was probably out of it enough to not realize consciously that he was there, but (at least, according to all the latest psychological research the empire had funded) it should sink into his subconscious and bolster the feeling that Junno was his true friend, trustworthy and caring.
Sounds from the doorway told him Ryo and the healer were back.
Junno made sure they both got a view of him gazing at the prince in an “unguarded” tender, concerned way before he suddenly released Tatsuya’s hand so they wouldn’t see his “true” feelings. Most people didn't realize that, in order to manipulate a single target properly, you had to work the people around him, too. Their belief in your lie helped make it that much stronger to the target.
Besides, he wanted to use Ryo's obvious jealousy to drive a wedge between him and the prince...

The story continues:
Chapter Eighteen ~The First Time~ A/N: Again, I'm sorry it's so short. I'm sort of juggling four things right now and I refuse to back off of any of them. So, somehow, I will write this fic AND learn Japanese AND win both the Armada and Geos games AND watch the same three ICONIQ PVs over and over again. I will make it work!
But, in all seriousness, tomorrow's chapter will be longer. Partially if not completely Junno/Ryo/Tatsuya. Possible Jin/Kame. No Marina. You won't see her again till Act II, most likely.
Hmm... I did forget to mention anywhere that the fic is divided into two acts...
Well, consider this official notification.
So, seems Junno is poisoning Tatsuya and it is for all intents and purposes untraceable. What fun. I swear, this Junno is weird to write. He really is bright and cheerful and all the wonderfulness of Junno-hood. But he has this job to do and it's sort of a "matter of fact" thing. It's just this "thing" that he does because it's what he's supposed to do. He isn't invested emotionally in it one way or another. He doesn't see anything WRONG with what he's doing because it's what his job is, after all, and he doesn't hate his job. Plus, he's good at it.
It's just a weird thing to write, a person with that personality coupled with that particular outlook. But I hope I am writing him okay.
