I am very sad...

My brother just called me.  He made an offer on a condo and is moving out in two weeks.

I knew this was coming but two weeks is pretty damn fast.  I thought he'd make an offer and then have a possession date in a month or so...not two weeks.  I'm really happy for him but I'm just sad...and it's purely for selfish reasons.

That's exactly how my mom was when my brother left for college and I was still in high school. Of course, now he's back home, and I was the one who left for most of the year... (and I think at this rate I'll move out before him, haha). But I definitely know what you mean about the house dynamic changing. I felt like all eyes would be on me constantly and my mom would go crazy.
