I'm 24w pregnant today, and apparently I have a ninja growing inside me. My last two OB visits the doc had to chase the little guy around my belly to get a heart beat and my anatomy scan showed a lot of movement. I'm infinitely frustrated with my diabetes. I've been a type 1 since I was 7 years old, and I will be 24 next month. I have NEVER had good blood sugar control. They caught my diabetes early and my first A1C was already in the 9's. i was always told if i were pregnant i would have GD because of my history of PCOS and hyperinsulinemia (pre diabetes). But they were wrong!! My GTT came back completely normal.
