After birth?

I checked the list of links to other communities and couldn't find it. Is there a place to ask questions about pregnancy related things for after the baby is here? Its not questions about child care for parenting or a bad birth experience. Just questions about our bodies going back to I guess a normal, pre-pregnancy state? Or can we just ask them

i keep saying we need a postpartum community here, but with a full time job, a toddler, and a baby on the way, i do not have time to start and moderate one.

i've seen people ask those kind of questions here, and also in parenting101, where most people remember those first days...

to me, that sounds like it's all part of the lochia. no period yet. i did not take it easy like i was supposed to after my son's birth, and my lochia lasted forever. if it had gone longer at first and then stopped, i would think maybe, but not if it didn't last long to begin with.

postpartum communities never last long because, well, everyone joins then leaves in a few weeks. you can ask here or in parenting101.

It sounds like lochia to me, mostly because it's too early to be anything else. Did you perhaps overdo it a bit during those few days? Were you on your feet a lot or anything like that?

If you need any support with breastfeeding, breastfeeding is a great community. They're also good with postpartum questions as they relate to breastfeeding, too. I imagine postpartum questions would be fine here or in p101 as well. :)

I would ask here! And I second the BF group, it is invaluable.

She's not even 3 weeks yet? It's still postpartum bleeding (lochia). It's pretty normal to have it come and go, especially if your activity level has increased. I've heard anything within the first 6 weeks (some say 6-8 weeks) is lochia.

Consider yourself lucky! I had bleeding for a full 6 weeks!
