Postpartum bleeding, or lochia, lasts 6-8 weeks. For some it stops a little sooner.

As for peeing yourself, I totally get it. My son will be a week old tomorrow and this is my second child, so I wonder if it will take longer for my muscle control to be back. As soon as I am cleared to exercise again, I will be doing my kegels religiously. I even have some ben wa balls for later on when everything is hunky dory down there.

I never really leaked with my first child, unless I was engorged. With the new guy, I only have to hear him cry and my breasts ache and leak. I bet it can be different with each child.

I bled heavily for 4 days, bled normal period style for 3 weeks and then it tapered and i jut needed a pantyliner.

Go to the washroom as soon as you feel the need to pee, and practice your kegals as soon as you are able. Srsly.

TOO FUNNY, One day (2 weeks old ish) I was sitting on the couch and about to nurse him, he started sucking his lip and my left nipple shot milk across the room and it hit the wall!! 9 feet away or so.

I can't wait to read it =)

CONGRATS AGAIN, and honestly, they grow up far too quick, enjoy this.

I had a c-section, but I've been bleeding for 3 weeks now. Some days I have nothing, other days it's spotting and some days I pass small clots.
