So. I might have mentioned it before, but reena_jenkins is fuckawesome. Seriously. Her level of awesome can only be reached with airplanes or possibly by letting yourself be shot from a cannon. Straight up.

Reasons why she's so awesome include, but are not limited to:

a)She makes pretty podfics.

b) She just made a whole week worth of very, very shiny First

Why the hell didn't anyone feel the need to point out that I totally screwed the pooch on Raven's background? She's adopted in the first story and blood related to Charles in the second.

Wait. Wait. I read it as, Raven was Kurt's kid. Kurt is Charles' step-father. I figured she came from a previous marriage of Kurt's, and he brought her to live with Charles and Mrs. Charles' Mom. Therefore, she would not smell like Charles, because they do not have the same genetic donors.

Did I mess up with that interpretation?

....also, thank you for the flaily-wonderful-grin-inducing praises of fantastitude. I'm smiling SO HARD right now, and I'm afraid the plumber's gonna come down and give me funny looks. (And now my performance anxiety is showing: Did you like the coverart?)

Yeah, I like the coverart. And the level of loon-grin you seem to be at about covers the way I run around whenever I find a new PM from you in my inbox, linking me with prettiness.

The intention, in the second story, was for Raven to be the daughter of Charles's mother and an unnamed man she was married to between Charles's father and Kurt. I talk about 'their' mother.

But I've got it worked out. I'm going to let Charles cite some arcane shifter-law, wherein only those are 'blood' who shift. So when Erik asked, he answered the way a shifter would, because he obviously doesn't shift and spends way too much time with the fur-faction. See, my fact-bending skills are totally hardcore. And it'll totally sound better when Charles explains it. Promise.

Don't ask me why. My brain is bouncing between rubber ducks, the threesome fic, Twilight and Doctor Who, of all things. I foresee a lot of headaches in my immediate future.
