♞ RULES
In a perfect world, we wouldn't have to have rules, but since we don't expect you to be able to read minds to be able to tell what is and is not allowed, we need a list. Banning is done on a three strikes system, but some offenses (such as using racist, sexist or homophobic slurs towards a player) are worth more than one strike.

♟ No godmoding or powerplaying. Godmoding is where you control someone's character. For example, if you were playing A, 'A swung the blade towards B' would be fine, but 'A swung the blade towards B, taking off their entire arm' would not be. It is always up to the other mun to decide whether they want their character to be affected by something. When you, as a mun, know a particular piece of information that your character would have no reason to know, and yet your character knows it, it is powerplaying.

♟ ICA = ICC. This stands for in-character actions = in-character consequences. Don't take it personally if your character is disliked by another character; it very rarely means that the mun dislikes you as a person! Conversely, if you do not like a particular player, try not to let it get in the way of your character's relations with their characters.

♟ Stay in character. Whilst we do use some crack elements within the game, and some people find it very difficult to stick within the confines of their character's personality in an alternate universe scenario, try to keep your character's personality as close to their personality in canon.

♟ Try to avoid wank. We don't have a rule that says 'no making bad RP secrets about us' or even 'do not post us on the anon meme'. What we do want, however, is for everyone to be able to deal with each other in a mature manner. If you have a problem with how a particular character is being portrayed, look for a HMD post. If the character doesn't have one or has never posted to the communal HMD post (or you would like to remain anonymous when the post doesn't allow that), please contact a moderator. If you feel that you are being harrassed OOCly by another player, please also contact a mod. We can do little-to-nothing about it if we don't know what's going on, after all.

♟ No multiples, aside from where there are multiple canons, or multiples in canon. For example, as there is only one Lavi in D.Gray-Man, there may only be one Lavi at any one time attending the school. However, in cases such as Cloud, where there is a Final Fantasy version and a Kingdom Hearts version, or Chii, who appears in both Chobits and Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle, both may be applied for. Also in Tsubasa, both Sakura and Mirror Sakura may be applied for, since there is enough canon material to make them different people.

♟ No character is perfect. If they were perfect and had mastered all of their magic, why are they at school? Similarily, whilst multiple abilities can be learnt, your character will come in with one, and that is the only one they will ever be able to truly master.

♟ The current character limit is five. This may change in future, but for now, you may only play up to five characters, distributed however you want (you could play five students or three students, two teachers, or four teachers and one student... you get the idea).

♟ Have fun! This one is dorky, but it is probably the most important rule of all. It's just a game, after all. ♥
