5117: Not This Time - Harry Potter (Master of Death)

I’d almost thought I’d discovered a Master of Death story which worked, but then went back and re-read the entry after posting and decided to completely rewrite the entry as there were a few things I’d not caught.

I admit that this person did make a "Master of Death" Harry more compelling than the others I've seen. He does have weaknesses, at least, and in-story it seems that he has a purpose for being Master of Death other than the cool factor. He even finds it boring! That's really nice.

It could just be the information provided in the post here, but I'm struggling to understand what the point of the story is, especially the point of making the main character Harry Potter. It seems like the point of the story is for Harry Potter to hang out with the Avengers and tell them the writer's opinion on them, which...doesn't seem very interesting to me? Does said opinions coming out of the mouth of a character from a different canon make the opinions more true?

But, hey. I don't care for Morgan Stark as a canon plot point, nor do I spend much time reading crossover stories featuring either of main fandoms, so that doesn't automatically mean my opinion on this fic's enjoyability objectively correct.

I've been wondering if Morgan Stark was more or less liked than some of Tony's children from other universes who just so happen to be erased from existence because Harry was only able to save the newest in the timeline.

I forgot to put that in the entry.

The writer's bias towards their favorite characters may be precisely what holds this particular story back.
