ok, today we will be making this icon:
request for tutorial from trick_c_baby
this was made in PS.. I'm not sure if you can make it to PSP though.
-ok, first get your base
-sharpen once, suplicate, desaturate and set to softlight and you have this:
-new layer, exclusion, 100%, a darkish blue color
-new layer, color, set opacity between 40-50, a muddy brownish color:
-new layr. flood fill with white, get your selecting tool and make a square in the middle, get you eraser and erase that part so all you have is a border like so:
-new layer, screen, 100%, gradient that comes default with PS:
I think this is pretty simple, if you have ANY questions, feel free to ask, and PLEASE don't copy this tutorial exactly, change opacities and add more gradients and colors. these are just tips that make icons look cool.
