SUMMARY: Tom and Bucky decide to host a poker game, do not tell the other who they invited.

The hotel rooms were much too small for a good poker game, though Tom would have preferred the privacy. Going out still made him antsy in small ways, but he tried his hardest just to relax and enjoy this get-together. He didn't have much money, but he still counted on losing whatever he had in his pockets to Bucky over the course of the game.

Bucky was just too good and Tom couldn't pull a poker face to save his life. Some things hadn't changed.

This didn't seem the place where one could order wine; Natasha was making do with the low-rent vodka this place served. She took her seat at the table, looking around at the assembled faces.

She wasn't exactly worried about losing any of the precious little money she had on her. Her poker face was good enough to fool Daredevil. Bluffing wasn't an issue.

Bucky's a brilliant poker player. A lifetime of lies and spying, plus his time as a minor army base con, and a keen memory for figures- yeah, he was good at poker. And always had been. He was sorta surprised Tom had agreed to it. But today he was actually feeling a bit of his sickness. Sort of tired and all-over limp. He was trying to figure a way to work this to his advantage.

"Nat," he said. He wasn't surprised to see her, exactly, but every time she turned up it was a little thrill, and he didn't think she'd be much pleased by the location. "You came."

It really wasn't as if Natasha had much else to do. Chip still implanted, she couldn't go rocketing off in search of answers or escapes.

And besides, she wanted to be near him. Bucky actually looked a bit sick, and it worried her.

"Of course I came. Someone has to take your money, James."
