Where are all these people coming from? she wondered as she flipped omelets, buttered toast and poured fresh coffee. It was a random Tuesday and there was a breakfast rush. I never have a breakfast rush in the middle of the week during February. What the bloody hell is going on?
"I got two more orders of easy over with wheat and potatoes." Epona called from the door. Rosie shouted at ehr to take the tray with two omelets, three bowls of oatmeal and a plate of french toast as she cracked opened an egg with one hand. Wiping the sweat from her brow, Rosie looked at the clock the hung above the door. 8:52. "Fuck, shit, bloody wankers!" she said, trying to flip her eggs, but missing the pan. She summoned a mop to clean up the mess as she tried again. Epona poked her head in with four more orders. Sighing, she set off to work.
An hour later, she was exhausted as was Epona who was the only server on duty at the time. "I know it's only 10 in the morning, but I'm done and having tequila."
