Would I like Community? I hear good things, but my motivation to try new A-TV is low.

The Daily Show online showed me trailers for Young Adult until I wanted to stab my computer screen. IDEK how the trailer was approved for mass consumption, so I can't imagine the movie was any better. I'm surprised you went to see it!

I think probably not. Community is sort of...the ultimate in current A-TV trends, sitcomwise.

And I wound up going to see Young Adult because a co-worker wanted to see it and I wanted to see a movie with the co-worker. Yeah. On top of its other issues, it was SO not the movie for that purpose, but I have been cut off from the media and so all I know was that it was Diablo Cody and said YA in the title...and I like YA? Ill-advised all around, basically.

After I commented, I realized that ofc you must have been forced in some way to see it.

It's possible I haven't enjoyed an American sitcom since Seinfeld destroyed American sitcoms. Yes, I've become one of those "my childhood was better" people. IT'S TRUE, THOUGH.

Yeah, I am a relatively recent convert to sitcoms, and it is rapidly climbing my short list.
