upon revisiting SV s3

I forgot how shirtless this show is. Also: it's that time period when Lana got exposed to the monolith of kickboxing, presumably in response to some memo about her passivity. (ETA: I now dimly recall that Lex was involved here, but I'm going to go with my "monolith of kickboxing" theory.)

Hee.

One of my favorite things about SV is that EVERYONE gets naked. Even Martha and Lionel get naked (uh, separately) and are presented as sex objects. No one is safe.

I also only vaguely recall Lex being involved. What was his motive? Or was that back when Lex was still trying to be a good person?

Martha gets naked?? I will totally let shows off the hook for many misdeeds when there is equal-opportunity nakedness (which is both how and why I have watched all of Star Trek: Enterprise twice).

I think that in late S2, Lana goes to Lex for kickboxing (or whatever) lessons because she's tired of being stalked, and Lex knows all about the arts of self-defense on account of being beat up at boarding school. It was something along those lines! I have a feeling I didn't actually see this episode, but was told about it second-hand years ago when I was like, "Uhhh...why is Lana suddenly kicking everyone's ass?"
