1. I've been following Shakesville's coverage of Mila Kunis, Justin Timberlake, and public pressure to go on a date with a Marine who asked her out on YouTube, and I find the coverage of it really icky. Ugh, that whole situation is creepy as fuck. I CAN'T EVEN.

I went from vaguely interested to violently disinterested in that whole g+ thing in about 60 seconds.

SO FUCKING CREEPY. I don't even have the words.

I'm not getting rid of it right now, and if they suspend me for not using my real name, I'll be fine with it. I'm not invested enough one way or another to care, but I think the way they're dealing with criticism and questions is pretty terrible.

I have my full real name exactly one place on the internet, and that's on my super-private Facebook (as super-private as Facebook gets), to keep in touch with my family in the mother country. The Google+ thing is giving me flashbacks to when Blizzard wanted to force-display every WoW player's real name on their forums last summer. :O
