's true, the more you study other religions the more you realize that yours isn't unique. I mean, sure, it has things that obviously you think are important and valuable (otherwise why would you believe in it?) but "we are so special and different and nobody else has idealized these principles or had true healthy spiritual experiences with God or been enlightened" is just baloney.

I heard that the Dalai Lama said that, if you believe that there is truth in all/most religions, then the best way to live is not to convert to his religion, but to live deeply into your own. Interesting concept. Weirded my mom out and I'm still thinking about it....
