Interesting argument. I can see why Anakin would fear that path though and I can feel Obi-Wan's frustrations at not being able to release that fear in Anakin.

LOL does Anakin smuggle a bed aboard every ship they travel in? Not that I blame him mind you cos well he is in love with Obi-Wan after all and the need to be physically close would be an urge to strong to resist

Another very interesting chapter, love :)

Anakin is terrified of the idea that he could have become Vader and killed Obi-Wan. No matter how many times Obi-Wan tells him that he is not Vader and will not ever become Vader now, I'm not quite sure if Anakin will ever completely believe this. That's Anakin's major stumbling block. That and the fact that he's spent years hiding a big part of who and what he is from pretty much everyone (except Obi-Wan. And even so, he ended up hiding things from Obi-Wan, because he was too ashamed to tell him about his failures) because the Jedi Order he was trained in was filled with so many beings who had been rendered small and fearful and petty (because of the Code and because of the hypocrisy and fear and intolerance and arrogance that the Code bred) that he had to pretend to be what they expected him to be (even if it went against his nature and even if it made him into someone more vulnerable to the Dark Side and to ending up as or like Vader) all the time whenever he was out in public or else he would've been in danger of being separated ( ... )
