Finally, I'm in Hearthome. Those bogs between here and Pastoria were a pain to get through... The rain didn't help either.

... Hm? There's some kind of festival going on? ... Poffin baking contest, huh? Great, I'm terrible at making Poffin. I wonder what else there is here?

... well, okay, there's a Contest Hall and Amity Square, but contests aren't my thing and neither is dolling up my Poliwhirl so that we can walk around. At least there're trainers running around, so it shouldn't be hard to find a battler or two.

I see... I honestly wouldn't know the first thing about contests, and Wobbuffet already has a habit of following me around half the time even when I don't take him to a park, so...

I suppose a battle wouldn't be bad... My Pokémon haven't done much lately, especially Nosepass with that bog and rain...

Finally someone else who isn't good at making Poffin! I almost got the feeling I was the only one!

Yeah, every time I've given it a try they end up spilt, burnt or lumpy. Or some combination of the three. Same with PokéBlock.

What's the deal with all these people asking what else there is to do? It's a festival. You do festival things. Walk around and find something to do!

Of course there's not going to be anything particularly interesting. It's a regular festival. Make good of it and have fun. I made my own competition using the games.
