Um... you've lost me. I thought last week was the "fall finale." Are you saying the next new episode airs on 12/17? I can't read the calendar on the second link, it's too tiny.
Okay, finally got it to enlarge. I guess that means that there will be a new episode on 12/17 and then no more new eps until... sometime in 2014? A gap of two weeks, one new ep and then... nothing til January? The schedule defies logic.
As I said, I thought that since there aren't going to be any new eps for the next few weeks, that The Devil's Share which aired last week was considered the "fall finale." That's why I was confused.
One of the EP's posted on twitter that there'd be a new episode on 17 December.
I agree the schedule is odd - almost everyone will assume End Game was the fall finale and not be looking for a new episode. Especially one so close to Christmas. The ratings will probably take quite a dip.
Although I'd really miss it I'd just as soon they waited until January and had a big kick off. Maybe the 17 Dec episode will be the cliffhanger we haven't had yet? =[

In what way is Finch being checked -- your comment isn't clear to me. Checked out? Checks and balances? I haven't found any pics for the upcoming eps online either at spoiler sites or CBS yet -- how would we see that he is being checked in some way by the Machine in a picture?
Based on interviews, I do think that there will be a lot of focus on the way Finch communicates with the Machine vs the way Root communicates with it in the upcoming eps of the season.
If we're talking about the upcoming episode 'Lethe', then it's Harold's check patterned suit. It is gawd-awful, lol. There've been a few comments made that the suit looks as if the fabric came from an old sofa. It's very unlike the normal stylish wardrobe choices his character is clothed in.
At least I know 'Relevance' is re-airing tonight so I can curl up and watch one of my favorite S1 episodes on DVD with a clear conscience (and enjoy a Shaw-free evening...grin).
