Who - not that any of us could possibly forget this - won the day when he literally painted with the blood of his enemies.
Indeed. Loved it.
Guys, Elijah. I have watched that long battle montage three times just to cackle at Elijah taking time out of a siege to sit and carefully wrap up a severed ring finger and announce his presence by rolling a head through the door.
lmao yes. That entire sequence is amazing and I have watched it several times. I also particularly enjoyed Elijah's strategy of getting into the house through judicious use of real estate law.
Still! KOL IS BACK, and this season hit the ground running.
Amen. I was also super excited to see all the Originals in play at once. Should be fun.

ah, yes, and how both characters' strategies were the first things we saw from them this episode, Elijah arguing about the historical value of the warehouse and Klaus throwing tantrums about his lack of the appropriate shade of red. Elijah's probably been going around buying every mortgage in the quarter, too.
Elijah's strategy for taking over the Quarter: buy all the property. I thought Klaus's lamenting about not having the blood of his enemies to paint with was amusing, but I didn't expect him to literally do it later on, heh.
