I really don't know what to make of that last scene - because it's role-playing, right? It has to be.
If it is, it seems to be the kind where they don't establish a safe word beforehand, lol. The whole scene just seemed to spiral into some place else from where it started. Like, there was no 'we're playing a game' lightbulb moment. It just sort of went there. And she did seem really pissed that he was even there at all at first.
I was really drawn up short by it, that's for sure. I want to give the show some benefit of the doubt, because it's usually pretty conscious of this stuff, but it's the kind of thing that really bothers me.
