So, there was a meme on Tumblr where people ask you a character and you answer some questions about them. I feel like it's fun to answer, but I ultimately continue to feel Tumblr fails as an actual social interaction tool because there's no way to converse aside from reblogging. So I'm posting the answers here, both for my own organizational

Also, Moira is awesome and I don't really get ever disliking her. I feel like Moira/Raven (or Moira+Raven) would have some potential, actually. I'm imagining her teaching her to shoot during the mansion training. RAVEN NEEDS MORE FEMALE FRIENDS.

I have this terrible habit of picking up headcanon and being unable to remember if it's mine or littledust's, but one of us has a thing about Moira teaching some of the kids (Raven specifically) how to shoot. And I could get behind Moira/Raven, especially in an AU where Raven and Erik come back and help build the school. Someone's gotta be figuring shit out while Charles and Erik are busy being weird about each other.

But I love Moira so much. I don't even know, man. Like, I think my favorites go Charles, Charles fifteen more times, Moira, Erik, Raven, everyone else. I just want all the Moira fic! And people tragically don't want to give it to me :( Someone added me on tumblr today and one of their first posts was like, "I don't like Moira, she's annoying" and it made me so sad about their wrong opinions.

True story: I never really cared for Moira until I read your Moira + Erik roadtrip fic. She didn't really shine for me in the movie (I was much more taken with Charles and Erik and Raven), and a lot of fics either don't use her at all or just make her a minor one-dimensional character. But that fic made me think about her more, and rewatching the movie, she's actually pretty great. (I also love that deleted scene where she tells Charles to GTFO

When it comes to X-people, I agree with you 100%. All of it. I'd say something more, but there really isn't anything else to say. Just, yes. Yes. Yes.

As for 11, I almost completely agree with you. The only place your opinions differ from mine is that I don't need to ship him with anyone. Or, maybe I don't need to read him with anyone? I don't know, cause if I did ship him with anyone, you pegged exactly who I'd pick, so I have no idea what I'm trying to say. There are some fandoms that I love love love the show/movie, but I'm not interested in reading stories about them (I think this stems from me mostly reading fanfic for the slash, so if there is a couple that I like that's het, the fic doesn't interest me, I have no idea what that says about me...)

Anyway, have no idea who the other two people are so, I can't say a thing about them.

I guess that I will have to find out since we seem to agree on everything else; we clearly have similar tastes.

Your Erik feels. Yes. Good God yes. Genocide is never fucking justified, okay? Like, I feel like, oh, 100% of his actions would be more sympathetic/justifiable if he then did not go off to become mutant Hitler.
I'm a big fan of the comics, and to be a comics fan of
Erik/Magnus/Max/Magneto/whatevertheactualfuckhisnameis, makes slightly more sense, as his redemption arcs and current characterisation are such that you can see that he
(a) genuinely believed he was doing the right thing
(b) genuinely regrets the harm he has caused, especially to his family
(c) is kind of a sad old man
and I have more empathy for that than I do for movieverse Erik, because, yeah, mutant Hitler.

But. XMFC Erik. Shaw is a mutant. And I can see you not knowing that he was a mutant before meeting Emma in Russia, maybe, but after that... what the fuck, dude

(You are also the reason I watched Jekyll, forever and ever ago when we actually talked about the Gwen, Rhys, Ianto, Miranda, Min, babies fic. The show was very, very good. IT WAS ALSO WAY CREEPY.)
