What: Dinner and a movie (not a date. I SWEAR. Catching up all friend-like and such.)
Where: Quick stop at the Library-> Lobby -> And, then, MAINLY at the Movie Theater.
When: Evening, what can be considered the general 'Dinner' time.

Bobby was actually on time for once in his life. After his brief conversation with John over the network the ex-mutant had changed into something a little more respectable than the torn t-shirt and PJ bottoms he’d been lounging around in. He had been very careful about his selection too, steering away from anything even remotely connected to Xavier’s in case John thought he was trying to rub it in his face or something. As John entered the lobby, he found himself mildly surprised by the sight of Bobby already being there. Sure, John himself wasn't exactly prompt-- at least not prompt when he didn't want to be. If it was something that he cared about, then, John usually showed up at least ten minutes early. He shook his head slightly and crossed his arms about his chest, the book still tucked under his arm, "Do you now have a watch? I figure that's the only way you'd get away from always showing up on the so-called 'Bobby Time'. At least now, you're with the rest of us now. Welcome to the real world ( ... )

“Am I on time?” he asked, looking quizzically at his wrist which did not have a watch on it-Bobby Drake would not be caught dead wearing a watch! “Huh! It must be this place; it’s a bit wonky with the whole time thing.” The ex-mutant shrugged slightly as If it was something that couldn’t be helped. “It must have messed with my inner clock. "I see you've gotten one of those word a day calendars, was that the last one you had? Travesty?" John joked good-naturedly. It felt nice not having to worry that he would hurt Bobby's feelings, at least he was more or less aware of when he could prod and poke at Bobby without truly offending him. John had to say, despite how he always said (time and time again) that he didn't need friends, it was nice to have someone not dislike him immediately ( ... )
