Happy International Women's Day, all you marvelous womens out there!  <3

I left the kid-stickers on the one back window of new-to-me car, but I got most of the other random inspection stickers and other gunkage scraped off the rest of car today - Goo Gone worked like a charm, thankee :D

Verdict from the doctor today is yes, probably a mild ( Read more... )

I've always been pretty healthy, so this is the first time I've had to really navigate the medical establishment, and yeesh O_o I feel like I'm doing all the work for them, lol. Thank goodness for cute doggie and kitty snoozes :D

Wow, Toast got big! It's like Kettle is strategically placed not to be in the way of anyone passing by, but not so much with Toast ;)

The tennis ball therapy sounds really useful! I hope your new doc comes up with something just as useful soon :) And thank goodness the concussion isn't too bad. I hope you recover soon.

He's big enough now he can reach any ledge or surface in the house - nothing is safe :P All floors and walking spaces also belong to the Toast *nods*

If I had to put in as much massage time with a therapist as I can do with the tennis balls, I'd be completely bankrupt, even with insurance - it's really made a big difference^^ And thanks! I haven't noticed the ear ringing as much today, so that's a good sign :)

My previous doctors looked so attentive and sympathetic, it kept blindsiding me - I say "maybe my posture? Is there someone who could take a look at that?" They say "here, these pills for irritable bowel syndrome :D" (I had mentioned earlier that sometimes I was waking up at night with an upset stomach, which would go away if I got up and walked around for a bit. Not exactly IBS symptoms - the bowels were functioning just fine, thank you very much. The tennis balls fixed that, too, so ha.)

The tennis ball thing is pretty simple, really - I'll have to do a tennis ball massage post^^

All hail the womens! :D

I'm glad the concussion thing doesn't seem too serious - although it's probably worth being wary if it gets any worse! The tennis ball thing sounds like it could be a lot of fun. You're making my brain hurt trying to figure out how many tennis balls you'd need so every inch of you was supported (about 400?), and how you'd stop them rolling away. A kids' paddling pool with a layer of balls in the bottom might work :) I hope the new doctor works out for you better than the last one!

I still can't get over how cute Toast is too :)

Concussion symptoms seem to be a bit better today, so that's a good sign. Don't worry, I'll scamper off to the emergency room if anything alarming develops, but I think I'm on the mend. LOL! Just one or two tennis balls at a time are required, although rolling around on a swimming pool full would probably be quite nice, too XD

Keeping my fingers crossed with the new doc. Apparently this problem is still pretty unknown to a lot of the medical community - I know I'd never heard of it! - even though it's recognized by all the major health organizations.

If Toast was any cuter I think my house would implode, lol

Urk, here's hoping the new doc proves to be less of a drug-pusher in the long-run =S Nothing worse than when they write off every little problem with a prescription before sending you on your way. So fudging frustrating >.<

Glad the tennis-ball thingie is working for you anyways! :D Hope the concussion clears up soon enough and that your shoulder-status improves *huggles*

And I can see Kettle and Toast are snuggly as ever XD

*nods* It doesn't help either that I have a full blown pill swallowing phobia. As in, if it's a choice between death or swallow this pill, well, I hope I'd manage to swallow the damn stupid pill, but I don't know O_o So docs prescribe a pill, I remind about the phobia (we've been over this...a few times before. Don't they have a note on my chart or something?). Cue massive discussion about whether this pill can even be taken as a liquid or not, we've never had this come up before, can't you just take it with a little applesauce? *sigh* *clings to dignity as best as can by reminding self of fearless spider handling skillz*

Tennis ball thing has been a definite lifesaver! And hopefully I'll get back to really working on the shoulder therapy and get those in shape - I've been slacking off with all the insurance and car shopping and everything.
