Obama ice cream

This weekend, Obama visited the ice cream parlor down the street where I worked for a year. Waah! Why wasn't I there? Apparently he ordered mint chip (a good choice, if slightly conservative; my brother's favorite, anyway) and got a taste of the green tea ice cream, which is utterly fabulous. And left a five-dollar tip.

I love mint chip!

Paul doesn't like mint though so we rarely get anything minty and chocalatey together.

I agree with Paul. Why would you defile chocolate with mint? I suppose I've grown to tolerate that combination, but I still don't understand why anyone would choose it.

It's amazing that he's almost treated like a saint - people want to come just because he's been there. (Though I suppose the same thing happened with the bathroom in the Minneapolis airport where Larry Craig was caught, so maybe I'm making the wrong analogy here.)

Too bad it wasn't a Ben&Jerry's that he went to - I hear they introduced an Obama flavor, called "Yes, Pecan!"
