I suppose it could suck being “single” on Valentine's Day.  However: There were other Valentine's when you were screwing - and screwing over - two, three, perhaps more boys simultaneously. Today was probably the first time in eighteen months I had to force myself to go swimming. This morning ritual had become a joy in my life, so I guess it was the combination of fatigue and it being appallingly hot on the farm that rendered me somewhat unmotivated...  Anyhow, as  suspected, the swim was entirely worth it in the end.
