I loves me some figs...There is a fig tree in the complex next door and it is the green kind of figs. I have never had them before, but I really like them. They a kind of bite, like cucumbers do, that sort of fresh, well, green taste, for lack of a better description. I was sneaking over there all summer and picking them off the tree, as they were going to go to waste otherwise.

Now I want figs.

Actually, it's more like melon.

Vermont country store has figs that they filled with chocolate truffle. That is just so deliciously sinful.

I love figs! I love them so much I bought a teeny tiny fig seedling a few years ago and now I have a nice little tree on my patio. Mmm.
