It's been over a year since I took a one-way ticket out to CA. In a couple weeks, I'll  be off on another one-way move, this time to Beijing, China.

Wow, good luck with the move. Sounds like China's been in some shit this week (Uyghur rebellion, earthquake), but maybe it's not as big as it sounds.

The only thing that has changed is that I can no longer logg onto facebook. The locals here think of these silly rebellions as minorities trying to make China un-united, which is a big no-no. China as one for the win over here!

And to Pin, I've learned to be as incredibly passionate about whatever it is that I'm doing. Well, as long as it's something that I'm willing to put forth that kind of effort. I hope that you find your calling here.

Oh, and of course you'd be able to live off of a 50K income. You came to Cali with that nice car. I find that a lot of Nova kids don't understand what it's like to be poor and feel the burn of not being able to pay for that meal.
