But whoo! I got awesome news today - I've signed on for another year in my little flat, which means I have a steady home for once! I am so excited by this, you have no idea. It's been years since I've spent so long in a single house.

BLINDS. I AM SO SICK OF HEARING ABOUT THE BLINDS!!

Our landlady will not stop lecturing us about the freaking blinds.

We don't put them up enough, we don't put them up high enough, we don't put them up to different heights every day, etc etc.
Every time we see her, or she phones, we get a lecture.

SO, after two weeks of freaking out that I was being moved at work because I wasn't good enough, my fears were totally laid to rest.
P, a coworker, heard my manager talking to the 2IC of the office... and, quote/unquote, the move is 'because I'm too smart'....
