It was beyond hard, LOL. Roslin and Adama is in a league of it's own in my head, but I got to 2 - 10 and had a mini breakdown.

AAAAAAH BEST IDEA EVER. I would never be able to narrow this down, but I think you got most of my favorites. *needs to go listen to the soundtrack now*

"Heart of the Sun" with its use of the original BSG anthem is just... so deeply touching to me. It basically salvaged that entire scene, where I was like "Oh my god, I don't know, do I like this? Do I not like this? Technology! Saaaaam!" But then I heard that and everything was so stirring and beautiful. *g*

And Roslin and Adama's theme is definitely the best.

YES. This, exactly! Heart of the Sun was like a defence against the haters. "We're sending the Fleet into the Sun. Controversial? Yes. But here's some epic music to soften the blow."

Roslin and Adama is a favourite for a lot of people, regardless of shipping preferences or character preferences. I think that makes it particularly special. There isn't a single song on any of the soundtracks I dislike, but R&A has a special place in my heart :)

Beautiful choices here as well. It amazes me how much the finale music was just... GAH. I'm so glad Bear actually had a cameo on the show, because his music was as much a character as the others.
