OMG, how much do I love Being Human? SO MUCH. Even if I only got six episodes and some idiots at BBC America don't understand the difference between a teaser and a spoiler (every single possibly surprising moment in the show gets shown in the teasers at the start of the commercial break) I still love this show oodles and can't wait for more

So... is this show snarky and fun sometimes? The way you're talking about it, maybe it is? Someone else recommended it to me, but I've been avoiding it because all the ads I was seeing on BBCA made it look Very Serious and Dark. I just haven't been able to do "dark and upsetting" lately. (I guess I reached my limit!) Do you think I would like it?

Hmmm ... I'm hesitant to recommend it under those parameters. It has a lot of love and its moments of joy, but a lot of the show is about the awful things that people do and the awful things that can happen to people. You may be correct in avoiding it right now.
