It's only Monday, and I am already halfway through my working week. I could get used to this. Sadly, I'm not likely to have the opportunity, since it wasn't me that won a squillion pounds on the Lottery last week, and nor (almost certainly) will it ever be. The Lottery Pixie continues to send me an occasional £5, and snigger. Not that even £5 isn't ( Read more... )

Lush! *\o/* I hardly ever order online because shipping is so expensive, so I usually get my mom to go with me when I'm in Dallas. (Although it might be finally not so hot that shipped items would melt instantly.)

It seldom gets that hot here, although there was one summer - it was the summer before we moved here, which was ghastly and which I try not to remember - when everything melted, and I was living on my own in the house in Thornton Heath with no refrigerator. *shudder*

I suppose I'm lucky to have a Lush only a bus ride away, but still - going into Oxford is an awful slog, especially when I used to be able to stop at the Victoria Station branch every day on my way home from work.

Nope, still not reconciled to having to move to Bicester. Does it show??!!

The Lottery Pixie continues to send me an occasional £5, and snigger. Not that even £5 isn't very welcome.

At least you get that. We've had precisely £10 once...

I get occasional £5s and £10s and, once - just once - a £100 (I used it to pay my antivirus subscription for that year and to get a poster framed). Just enough that I don't dare change my numbers in case one day they bring me something better.

What a sucker I am. No wonder the Lottery has millions to give away!

It hasn't happened yet, but I do intend to enjoy it. Three days of not being at work is almost treat enough, mind you.

I have to get caught up on The Good Wife. I've seen the first four episodes, but god behind.

And yeah, did you ever notice how the people who usually win the lottery are old?

I'm not doing too badly on The Good Wife - if I remember to watch last week's tomorrow, when I should have time to spare, I should catch up. But I am a bad fan. Poor weeJosh!

Over here, the people who win big Lottery prizes always seem to be crooks and/or benefits cheats. Or maybe that's just the people who the papers make a big fuss about. Either way, it's never lovely, deserving ME!

Have an awesome time! I am envious.

You will be in London as Hubby is leaving, you can wave vaguely in his direction.
